		<description>Bertrand - this is a great post.  I am a strong proponent of &#039;system thinking&#039; and that systems drive behaviors.  If you attach community or social media management as an outpost to an existing corporate process - it doesn&#039;t dramatically change the process or the results (it can potentially help but not radically).  There is no way - in my opinion - to do community management well without addressing things like culture, leadership, processes, employee incentives, policies, etc.  That doesn&#039;t mean a company can&#039;t start down that path but eventually they will get to a cross-roads where they either say - this doesn&#039;t have significant ROI and ditch their efforts or they will dig deeper and find out what the root challenges are and expand/integrate their initiatives more broadly.</description>
