Betrand -- excellent post and one that resonates deeply within my organization. I have spent that last several building a Web 2.0 Enterprise platform that enables companies to build and protect their brands in real-time. My companies products were developed on the premise of integrating an organizations "corporate dna" into the software -- i.e., making the software "wrap" around all of their key business workflow and process. Our business flows are incredibly easy to change and accommodate ad-hoc users on the fly with simplicity. I completely agree with your stance on this topic - in a world where things change at the speed of light, software must be able to do the same!

I posted my response here: http://blog.dna13.com/enterprise-20-addressing-technology-and-business-goals/151/
