Thought provoking post that has given me a start in responding to issues of quality via inherent, social and holistic work practices - enterprise 2.0 or otherwise.

Quality is a real problem for organisations - it has taken on a separate life of its own - almost to the extend that we have "quality police" that everyone is afraid of but so often just superficially tick the boxes that are required.

"if it can't be measured then don't do it" - yep, I have been told this!!!!

Quality is so often an excercise in quantity, since quantity is easily understood and manipulated.

My interest is in social/P2P and transparency/openess to develop quality - Enterprise 2.0 are useful in achieving these
