Provocative insights. It reminds me of the adage ‘culture eats strategy for lunch’ and the excellent examples of companies you have proposed I think show this very strongly. An organisation that knows how to talk within itself and foster a clear identity can often project its message with a lot more clarity and efficiency than a disjointed office with no clear purpose.

The discussion about whether soley blue / white collars, or a mixture of both best fosters community within the organisation is a separate (and even more provocative) discussion entirely!
