Adopting 2.0 tools: it’s all a question of management

There are some sentences that read like divine missives, so common-sense are they that they stand in stark contrast to limited approaches that are not adapted to the context and challenges facing companies and their managers.

… it doesn’t help when you have a management which talks about digital futures and then manages the staff with a Victorian attitude.

The tools will only be fully effective in a managerial context that also takes into account the challenges of the digital, social and interconnected enterprise (a non-exhaustive list…choose the term that suits you best).

The real digital divide lies not so much in the tools as in the context in which they are implemented.
