Last March, I wondered whether generative AI was a lasting revolution or a speculative bubble (AI heading for an economic dead end?). I expressed cautious optimism, but I was definitely confident. I could see the gray areas and the first signs of abuse, and I wondered above all whether market players would be able to demonstrate enough value to pass on their costs to their customers and become profitable.
